Art of WellBeing Article Guidelines

Art of WellBeing's mission is to make a positive difference in the health and well-being of our communities by promoting the good of those who seek help as well as the good of those who offer it.

Art of WellBeing publishes articles of general interest to a broad spectrum of our society. The articles provide practical information for the many people in our area who have little or no knowledge of alternative or complementary health services.

Article space is available to ADVERTISERS of 1/4 page ads or larger. We welcome articles which are informative and editorial in nature, without promoting one's business or personal services. Please email your article request to info@artofwellbeing.com.

What does Art of WellBeing look for in writing?
Please provide articles that the general public will easily understand. Avoid using "professional" terminology that requires further explanation. Testimonials and personal experiences provide wonderful examples that readers can relate to. AWB is committed to providing information that educates and promotes awareness in a style that will make the reader want to know more. AWB allows articles to share from one's personal view without making it biased toward other methods.

What kinds of articles is Art of WellBeing looking for?
Any subject matter related to alternative and complementary health services as well as body, mind and spirit topics is appropriate. If the general topic has been addressed before, consider using an unusual approach to the subject. We are open to the possibilities.

How long should a manuscript run?
Articles may be 1000 maximum words in length, including biographical information about the author. Articles that substantially exceed that number will be subject to editing for length, while preserving the style, flavor and integrity of the original. The author, of course, reviews the condensed version before publication.

If you wish to have a picture in your article then 850 words maximum.

What are the deadlines for article submission?
Art of WellBeing is published four times a year in the Piedmont Triad. Please call or email for deadlines.

How do I submit my inquiry and manuscript?
